After the Krugerrand, the Maple Leaf gold coin is likely the oldest bullion coin in the world.
The Royal Canadian Mint has minted the 1 oz Maple Leaf since 1979. Further denominations down to 1/20 oz followed in subsequent years.
The motif of the maple leaf remains the same every year, just like the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the reverse. But here the portrait varies for coins from 1979-1989, from 1990-2003 and from 2004 to the present day.
We deliver the Maple Leaf depending on availability and are unfortunately unable to comply with requests for specific years.
According to §25c of the German VAT law (UstG) investment gold is tax exempt.
