Lunar Series II
After the first Lunar Edition for the years 1996-2007, the Perth Mint in Australia decided to produce a new edition of the series of motifs. 2008 saw the launch of the Lunar II Series with a new design and altered dimensions.The writing “Year of the .....” and the corresponding Chinese characters are embossed below the image. On the back of the coin is Queen Elizabeth II, along with the nominal value, the year of mintage, and the fine weight. The P stands for the Perth Mint, Australia.
